Drama
Aims
The aim is to build on your existing experience to extend your range of drama and communication skills, enthuse you about the role of drama to communicate messages, improve self-esteem, confidence levels and team working skills, develop an understanding of the role of the theatre and the written and spoken word.
Structure
The programme will offer SQA core skills and drama units, primarily at Intermediate 1 level. Delivery will be based in the Fletcher Studio and Act Two to give you a simulated theatre experience. Assessment will be carried out throughout the programme based on the observation and completion of units. There is no examination but participation in the end of term production is required.
Progression
Upon successful completion you will be able to progress to the NC Acting and Performance or many other Intermediate 2 or Higher programmes available at Carnegie College.
